Should I let the math prereq sway me away from Engineering?

So I am a senior in High school and all my life I have been leaning toward becoming a Computer Engineer, but now i have a few concerns. a lot of the prerequisites require Calculus 1-3 and other courses. As a senior this year I am not taking pre-calculus which could hurt me if i do decide. y first question is should I stay away from computer engineering if I want to avoid taking all that math? Also if not so, should I take college pre calculus? ( via high school dual enrollment program). I am thinking about going into a medical major instead but the amount of schooling even after your bachelors is swaying me as well. I just want to have a general rough Idea.

Why do you want to do engineering or medicine? Both will require a lot of schooling and tough coursework, especially if you are entering without pre-calc.

How are your math and science grades? Are you doing well and just behind, or behind because they aren’t your strongest subjects?
