Should I major in Physics?

I am currently a second year undergrad student studying Electrical Engineering. I am not sure whether or not I should switch my major to Physics. I have always have been fascinated by physics, being my favorite subject in school. My parents say there are not many jobs in the field comparing to that of Electrical Engineering, stating that it would be difficult for me to find a job. I had an idea of double majoring in physics however my academic adviser, advised not to do so claiming that double majoring is not worth the increase in salary for the increase of work I would be doing. I recently declared a minor in physics however this minor does not cover some of the classes I really want to take being 3D physics and quantum mechanics. Not too sure what I should do, was hoping to get some advice on my situation.
Side note: I plan to go to grad school.

@Luke5956 - Most physics majors who look for a job with a B.S. have quite good employment prospects, however, they generally are not working directly in a physics-related job. You say you want to get into graduate school. Is this in Engineering or Physics? My recommendation is to focus on the discipline that you wish to pursue in graduate school. It is possible, but more challenging to cross-over.
