<p>I've been accepted as a volunteer for a really important international event that will take place in February 2014. Should I mention this in the Activity Section of my application or should I leave it out, given that it hasn't actually taken place yet?</p>
<p>I think you can put it in and just make sure it says something like, “Selected as volunteer for xx event, scheduled for 02/14”.</p>
