Should I mention learning disabilities to school?

I'm currently in high school, and I was diagnosed with ADHD in 1st grade, then Asperger's and an anxiety disorder of some sort in 4th grade. I used to take medication, but I don't anymore because they used to heighten my anxiety and decrease my appetite. I've been doing better than alright despite predictions from just about everyone, with a 4.0 GPA and straight As every quarter. Obviously I had to work my butt off for this and I basically cry before/during/after every test due to anxiety. The school is not aware of my issues. Should I mention it to them in order to get extended time etc.? And how will this look to colleges?

yes by all means, depending on your school, they may have resources such as what you mentioned, extra time on test, note takers, and the most important priority registration given to kids with diagnosed medical disabilities. Congratulations on overcoming high hurdles, but don’t continue to suffer alone. You will eventually crack under the pressure for sure what with new school and environment etc. Good luck! Also there’s some great threads on ADHD/LD friendly schools, browse them.
