<p>i came to the U.S. when i was in 8th grade, the thing is that i came AFTER i finished 8th grade in my country, so should i mention this? </p>

<p>There's no reason not to mention it. In fact, if you came to a country whose native language is not English, and you did well in high school anyway, that's a bonus.</p>
