Should I mention this, or send it as a supplement?

I don't know if any of you guys use reddit, but I have one of the top posts of all time on their "math" board. The post is a step-by-step explanation of how I derived the law of cosines on my trig final.

Should I send a link with my application? It was a really popular post

sure, why not

I wouldnt send it. I dont think that they will open a link and read the post. Even if they did, its not too impressive. Many kids know how to derive countless formulas

MITChris is an MIT Admissions officer. I’d listen to the MIT Admissions officer.

^did not see that. Scratch what i said. Listen to the MIT admission officer.

Part of it is the discussion it prompted and the 15,000 views it got  I don’t think derivations alone are hugely impressive
