At my school I've been in the accelerated mathematics program, but I felt like it was too slow for me. This year I moved up and went into Calculus BC instead of Calculus AB. I well understand the material in the class and I do all the study guides "alright" that are given by my teacher. I just have a problem with doing the tests where I end up failing them. The reason I fail them is because the material on the test is different from the homework, and slightly different from the review guides. My school uses 6 weeks per semester, my last 6 week's grade was a C-, and currently I have a D.

I feel you bro.

I have a D in AP Calc too. I do sort of fine on the quizzes and on the homework, but our test are crazy difficult. The material is different and it’s worded differently/strange. You’re taking BC, whereas I’m taking AB, so you’re way smarter than me. Calc AB in my school is offered as a year long course and it’s much slower than AB/BC.

Wouldn’t you want to go with AB before BC, though? You learn differentiation and integration in AB, so did you teach some calculus topics before entering BC?

Calc AB is half of the year of Calc BC, the only difference is BC is much faster. It’s too late for me to drop down anyways, so I got my answer.

Well, just keep pushing. Good luck.
