Should I not compare this to JHU/Duke/Columb (want to do BME)

So, I mean, without really thinking about it, I kind of eliminated Northwestern, just because I want to do BME and am into Hopkins and Duke and Columbia, although I might want to go into business after undergrad instead, but I'm not sure... I just thought it wasn't up to these in terms of the program and opportunities, but maybe I am wrong. I know this is a NU board so you're probably all a bit biased, but should I actually put NU back on consideration?

hey, i don't think ill have a biased perspective because i'm from the georgetown forum :) haha. from what i've heard, i heard the economics and business programs at NU are some of the best out there. but, i'd go with columbia if i were you. i heard columbia is better...and the internship opportunities offered in the NYC area are plentiful and amazing.

Northwestern's BME is ranked higher than Columbia actually.

JHU

Duke

Northwestern

Columbia

Yeah, I did notice that too, but then again I'm trying to consider the school as a whole. Hmm... man, deciding is so impossible. I wonder how rankings matter, hmm.. especially if I might not go become an engineer right afterwards.

Duke has strong BME/Econ programs and a social life. Go to DUKE
