Hey there,
Currently I am a freshman attending a southeast university with around a 3.3 gpa. I am looking to transfer to a school like The University of Michigan next year because of its’ business school. I was thinking about putting my YouTube channel that has close to 600,000 subscribers and 100 million views. I have run it like a business, gaining very good profits and the influence is starting to be noticed. My real question is whether this is a good edge for a college application?
yes, those are impressive numbers and is very interesting
but frame it professionally, not like its just something you do for fun but something you have learned and grown from
I would most certainly. Funny you mention this as my son is trying to create a YouTube music channel. The only difference is that he wants to do this during a gap year – after having been admitted to the college of his choice. Good luck. Sounds interesting!
What kind of channel is it? Meaning, what kind of content do you put up?
