Should I quit basketball?

I'm a junior and I'm on my school's varsity team. I'm the benchwarmer for the staring point guard so I don't play as much during the game....

I'm thinking about quitting because the games have been taking up too much of my time. In one week I would have a game on Mon/Tues and a tournament on the weekends. I sometimes even have to miss school because I would have to leave early to go to away games.
In school, I'm ranked 2nd in my class and I'm in 4 AP classes. I'm the president of a club and the treasurer for NHS. I'm an altar server at my church and I'm an assistant teacher at my church's Korean school. But, because of basketball, I can't seem to commit much of my time on these EC's.
Lastly, the biggest reason why I want to quit is because of my low SAT scores. I do well in school, but I can't seem to do well on the SAT/ACT. I'm worried because dont colleges focus more on SAT scores than EC's?

I can replace basketball with other EC's, but I don't know what colleges will think when they see on my application that I quit basketball in my junior year....

What are your opinions on this? How much would my quitting effect my application?
Thanks for reading long post and for giving me your opinions.

dont quit colleges like athletes.

I know colleges do like athletes… but I’ve decided to quit this year… my coach doesn’t let me play at all so each game for me seems like a complete waste of my time. Junior year is too important for me… thanks david41645 for replying though

I would have done the same thing if I were you. Well, I kinda did actually but I had no choices. You, on the other hand, obviously do have a choice.
What matters is “do you want to stay on the team ?”. It doesn’t look like it but rather like you feel that you have to. You probably read that a lot but being admitted to a college depends on a lot of things. And the advice I received the most, and decided to believe, is to just do what I want to do. If you don’t want to play basketball (or not play in your case) anymore, don’t. Do some other important thing, especially if you’re better at em.
Plus, colleges may like athletes, but they’d hardly want all of their students to be athletes.
