So I'm planning on applying ED to NU. I'm not going to list all my stats/ECs, but I think I have a pretty decent shot (knock wood). My ACT score is a 35, and my SAT is a 2180. Where I live, we are not required to take the SAT so it doesn't go on my transcript/get reported to colleges unless I want it to. Should I report both scores, even though I'm not totally happy with my SAT, or should I hope that one really good score (my ACT) will look better than one really good score and one kinda mediocre score? Help me!!

You need to send only ACT or SAT; in your case, evidently the ACT. Good Luck!

Close Call here – your ACT is obviously better than the SAT, but 2180 is a really good SAT score (not mediocre at all). My guess is that it wouldn’t make much difference no matter what you do. That being said, my inclination would be to only report the ACT. It’s a close enough call, that you should probably discuss with your Guidance counselor/College Counselor.

Send the ACT!!!

Definitely go with the ACT! Your SAT score is good, but the ACT is great! Go with the ACT, and don’t worry about the SAT score.
