Should I rescore my AP Bio exam??!

AP Eng Lang: 4
APUSH: 4
Bio: 2

I was so shocked, I thought that I'd get a 3 at the very worst!

I was expecting a 4, the multiple choice section should have been ok, and I screwed a couple of the free response but overall I didn't think I failed.

I'm on the fence about rescoring because I can't really afford the 25$ fee and it would crush me to see the same score again... I worked so hard on this test :'(

Has anybody gotten a better score when rescoring?

It probably isn’t a good idea.

I wouldn’t bother. The Bio curve was really tough this year, so getting a point or two lower than you expected isn’t too surprising.

Sometimes a rescore can even make a 4 change to a 5. But getting a successful one at all is rare. Although some of the College Board’s practices are questionable, mistakes do not happen often. But them charging $25 for a possible mistake on their part is a bit ridiculous.

I do not think rescoring is wise. You will most likely end up with the same score :/

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm you’d think that if the curve was tough they’d be a little more lenient -_-

Icespice, the College Board doesn’t do that sort of things. They determine the points needed for 5s, 4s, etc. before grading the tests. They didn’t know that only 5.4 percent of kids would get a five or plan for a small percentage of people to get the equivalent of a college A. I feel that if their grading standards were more lenient, the CB would also up the points needed in a curve, because they hate children or something.

Yeah I guess you’re right. Sucks bad though.
