Should I retake my SAT?

I want to apply as a transfer applicant from Michigan State to these schools. Here are my statistics.

Schools:
UNC
Michigan
Virginia
Texas

Stats: 3.6 UW Academic GPA (High School)
SAT: 1300 (660 Math, 640 Verbal)

Is my SAT good enough for admission if I can get a good college GPA, or should I retake it?

You definitely need to take the new SAT

can you re-take SATs after high school? I didnt do so hot on my SAT's and I want to transfer but I didnt know you could retake sats after high school...some one please fill me in on this

I'm sure you can take it anytime you'd like. I know test prep companies hire people to take it all the time just to see if the collegeboard has changed anything.

I did indeed take the new SAT. Those two scores were my math and verbal in the new SAT. I think I had a 600 writing.

Your SAT score is 1900. i suggest u study hard and get somewhere like 2100.

what about ur high school records? ECs? awards?

I did some sports, orchestra, had some jobs, did some volunteering, etc. Nothing that really stands out that a normal applicant wouldn't have, like NHS, although I am going to be joining some clubs in college.

I also had a 29 ACT if that helps, although the conversion says it's about the same.
