Should I send both my Math IIc Scores?

Hi,

I've taken the SAT Math II Subject Test twice. I got a 720 the first time around and a 780 on my last sitting. Should I send the 720 score or simply conceal it?

Thanks!

If the school allows you to use Score Choice, why wouldn’t you just send the higher score?

If the school doesn’t allow you to use Score Choice, then they will see both but will usually only consider the higher score in assessing your application.

Hi WiseGuy,

I agree, I think I am better off just sending the higher score. The reason I asked for advice was that I remember reading sometime ago that Colleges know if you used Score Choice. I was wondering if they simply ignore it or try to infer why I opted for concealing a certain result.

I am pretty sure that colleges do not know whether you used score choice (unless, for example, all of your scores appear on your transcript or something).

However, please check on your individual schools and make sure they allow score choice so you aren’t breaking any rules.
