Hi there. I am applying early action to chapel hill. I have a 3.56 gpa(yes, I know it is on the low side, but mainly due to freshman year slacking, have maintained upward slope of grades, 3.4 freshman year, 3.6 sophomore, 3.63 junior) and scored a 2310 on my sat i. I also scored a 730 on the sat literature, and a 720 on Math 1. I have taken honors courses all throughout high school, and received a 5 and A in ap gov last year, and a B and a 4 on AP Environmental science.

My question is this: As subject tests are optional, would it be better for me to not submit my subject tests? I am retaking the subject tests in october, and just took the act a couple of weeks ago, but just want to see if you all thought it would harm my application by sending it in, as a 720 and 730 don't look as good as a 2310. Thanks!

BTW, I'm out of state, and have great extracurriculars
