Should I send my ACT scores or my SAT scores, or both?

Hi! This is my first post on CC and am very excited to be a part of the family! My first question for discussion is to decide what actions I should take with my scores. I plan on applying to Lehigh University, Penn State, UMD, NYU, Boston College, Villanova, and U of Miami. What scores should I send? Or should I send both? Please respond back with a reasoning! I appreciate it! Also, for Lehigh, I am debating if I should ED1.

SAT: 1910

CR: 620
M: 680
W: 610

ACT: 32

English: 31
Math: 31
Reading 36
Science: 29
Essay: 9

ACT is better - no need to report SAT

Agree ACT is better. Read the policy of each school. Some schools require to send all your test scores.

It’s rather uncommon for a college to require that you send both SAT and SAT. Stanford is only college that comes to mind. What is common is requiring all tests of ACT be submitted

Uncommon, but it’s better to know that. Yeah, if schools require you to send all ACT scores, then do so. A 32 is good enough for most schools that you mentioned.

Would you believe a 32 is good for Lehigh? Lehigh is my top choice currently

Yep, you won’t be denied by your score. Remember, that school has holistic admission.

None of the colleges you list require you to provide all scores and thus you can send the tests you want to send. All profess that they will use that test which is higher, SAT or ACT, if you send both, and not hold the other test’s score against you. ACT appears to be higher but you will be OK even if you send both.

Definitely your ACT only… a 32 is equivalent to a 2120. Send that.

And a 32 is the 75% at Lehigh. You’re fine.

I agree. Definitely your ACT score.

Your ACT is much better. You don’t need to send your SAT.

bump

Send your ACT score only.
