Maybe to schools that would be more borderline? For example for SATs are 510 CR, 610 Math, 560 Writing. My ACTs (a little worse) are 20 english, 29 math, 25 reading, and 23 science. Would it help because my 25 in reading is better than my 510 in CR? That my 29 in Math is better than 610? But my 20 english is worse than my 560 writing and my 23 science is worse than my SAT 2 Biology and Chemistry tests (700 and 620)? What do you guys think? Thanks!!

Hey! I’m in the same boat. Total SAT was 1620, but my ACT total was 25 (translated to about a 1720 in the SAT scale). . . I’m sending in my ACT results, but that’s just me.

Regardless, I’m of the opinion (hope?) that colleges will not consider lower scores to be a detriment. That is, sending another score, regardless of if its lower, will not hurt or help you, the college will consider only your highest score against another students highest score. Though I can’t really for any certainty.
