My reach schools are Cornell, Swarthmore, and the University of Chicago. I'm also applying to Vanderbilt, Davidson, Centre College, and University of TN.

Should I send these SAT Subject Test scores-
Literature-770
Chemistry-640
U.S. History-660

I took all 3 on the same date so I'd have to send all of them if I sent the Literature. I plan on retaking the Chemistry and History in January because I know I could do much, much better, and I've heard that at least Cornell accepts the Jan. testing scores. However, knowing that fact and studying in depth ahead of time doesn't necessarily mean that I'll do as well as I think I could/should. All of my other stats are pretty/very good (mid-30 on the ACT, SAT-770V, 740W, 600-something on the math, good ECs, 5's on several APs, great recs/essays/transcript/GPA/etc., good batch of awards...).

Should I sent these 3 test scores to the all of the colleges I'm applying to or just to the ones which require the SAT IIs?

Don't send to U-Tenn, cuz you'll get in anyway, and it'd be a waste of $$$. +, a lot of state schools don't even look at SAT IIs, and i think U-Tenn falls into that category.

not sure about other schools.

:) Yes, I'm not sending them to UTK. The application deadline was Dec. 1 regardless, so I just spent half an hour filling out the application and got it out of the way. I know that neither Vanderbilt nor Davidson require SAT IIs, although they "recommend" them. I'm pretty confident that I would still be accepted at both even if I don't send the Subject Test scores.
What I'm really wondering about though are my reach schools. Cornell requires 2 SAT IIs, even if you send in the ACT. There's not much I can do about that except improve my scores in January. Swarthmore only requires SAT IIs if you're just submitting the SAT score. UChicago does not require the Subject Tests at all.
However, these schools obviously have a competitive admissions process and so I'm debating about whether or not to send the scores to Swat and UChicago. My Literature score is clearly above average but the other two are clearly below average. It's a quandry.
