Should I sign up for the SAT II right now?

<p>Hello. </p>

<p>I was just wondering, is now too early to sign up for the SAT II for October? I live in a pretty populated city (we have a population of around 620k people), so would signing up in the middle of August be considered too late? </p>

<p>The reason why I don't want to sign up now is because I still don't know whether i want to take the French or math 2 test, so I'd like an extra week or two to make my decision. Spots wouldn't be filled by the end of August for October tests...right? I mean, aren't mostly everyone off enjoying their summer?</p>

<p>I would just sign up and take it to see if I can get a good score. One thing I regret when I was in high school was not taking my SAT’s more! Because then I would have had a better score to pick from and a better chance of getting into the college that I had intended on going to.</p>
