Should I stay in electrical engineering? or should i go to structural?

Hi! I am a first year student at UCSD. I am currently in electrical engineering, but I am thinking about switching to structural. I am still debating which one I like better as I take my classes, which is subjective, but my more objective question is which major has better job prospects? I looked at the Bureau of Labor Statistics website and it says the prospective job growth for EE is 4% (below average). On the other hand prospective job growth for structural is (12%). I have always heard the EE has great job opportunities, but after looking at the changing statistics and reading articles online, it does not seem to be the case anymore. Does anyone understand what is going on in the industrial world, that is causing the job prospects in EE to be below average? In addition, do you think that the below average job prospects of EE can be balanced by the opportunities to enter many different industries, namely bioengineering (or do you think this is already calculated in the bls statistic)?
