I currently have taken the Math II (770), physics (700), and literature (730) subject tests. I’m applying to a lot of ivy-level schools, and I wrote that my intended major was physics. I know my physics score is exceptionally low, but I was wondering if I should submit my literature as well to kind of off-set it slightly. I know that a 730 is still extremely low, but I was wondering if this would help or hurt me by sending it in along with my Math II and physics.
Yes, submit the lit score…it is not ‘extremely low’, in fact it is a very good score.
That’s a good score for lit. I would submit it.
730 Literature is 85th percentile - comparable to 790-800 Math2 and Physics on a percentile basis - a very good score.
I would recommend submitting Math and Literature. Unless you’re required to submit Physics, I’d omit it. Don’t use Lit to “offset” it, use it to replace it.
Submit it, it can’t hurt your application.
