<p>I'm a freshman that is currently taking Honors Chem. We're registering for our classes next year now, and I'm not sure which science to take next year. The options I'm considering are AP Biology and regular Physics. I could take Physics next year and AP Bio in 11th grade, or vice versa. Taking AP Bio sophomore year would probably benefit me because if I took it junior year, I would also be taking APUSH, AP Calc AB, and AP English 3 at the same time. That sounds like way too much for a single year. On the other hand, Bio, along with World History, would be my first AP classes ever. I might want to wait until junior year to take it because although I find it more interesting than Physics, I have heard it is very hard. I have never taken a Physics class before, but have taken Biology, if that helps. I think I might be going pre-med in college, but I'm not sure. I also have no room in my schedule for a science senior year, but after my junior year, I will have done 4 years of science.</p>

<p>I advise taking physics next year since you already have ap world. Though ap bio is one of the easier ap sciences, it seems to be a hard class at your school. Plus the fact that you’ll only be a sophomore, I think that you should wait another year to take ap bio. Good luck!</p>

<p>I have the same dilemma only, I’m taking Bio this year. I’m not sure whether to take an AP science softmore year because of the workload I’ll already have with WHAP, Pre-calc, and english 2A. plus my extracurriculars…I have no idea when I’m going to be able to fit in an AP science since I’m already planning on taking 3 AP’s junior year (not science related). I want to major in Bio in college, so I can become a doctor one day so I need the AP sciences but I have 0 space on my schedule for them…ugh the struggle.</p>
<p>Just mentioning that there are 4 APs dedicated to just Physics…AP Physics 1, AP Physics 2, AP Physics B, AP Physics C. You should take all of them sometime throughout high school, preferably Physics 1 & 2 sophomore, Physics B & C junior, and Bio senior year. It’s seriously great how that will turn out on your transcript in terms of classes, especially if you are planning to major in a science. </p>
<p>@elefish92 lol I just said this to you on another thread but I’ll say it again: AP Physics 1 & 2 are going to replace Physics B next year. They don’t coexist (is this even the right word?) together. But there are 2 AP Physics C tests.</p>
<p>Apologies, just found out actually xD disregard B then, 1 and 2 next year, and then C the year after that.</p>
<p>Also to extend, if you take physics C, you really don’t need physics b, so the material is the same, except non-calc based.</p>
