Should I take calc 3 in HS if I want neuroscience major?

Hi. I recognize that colleges want to see 4 consecutive year of math in applicant’s high school resume.
Because I pretty like math, I took ap calc bc in 10th grade (got 5 from ap exam) and am taking ap stats as a 11th grader now. The only option my school (public) offers is taking calc 3 in community college near my school in order to complete the 4 consecutive year of math… or skip it for the senior year.
I looked up some BS courses requirement for neuroscience and realized that neuroscience BS usually require only calc 1 &2.
In this circumstances, I need your advice if I better take calc 3 in my senior year (even though it seems unnecessary for my future major), or better skip math and rather take computer science(which is also other requirement for neuroscience major in most of colleges).

Can you take biostatistics at your local community college?
This way, you’d still have a math, and you’d have a math class that applies directly to your major.

It is rather uncommon for community colleges to offer statistics courses more advanced than high school AP statistics.

Multivariable calculus may be useful if you wander into machine learning and artificial intelligence.

AP CS principles is generally useful from a knowledge standpoint (not usually from a credit standpoint).

But check the colleges of interest to find out what they actually want. Some may see completion of calculus as sufficient. Others may want to see a math or math based course in 12th grade. Etc.

Colleges don’t need to see that you have had four years of math classes in high school if you get through calculus. Calculus is a college-level course. By finishing BC in 10th grade, anything after that would be optional. Stats is already a bonus math class for you. If you want to continue to pursue higher math, then whatever you can pick up at the community college along that line would be fine.
