I can’t decide whether I should take the subject test for physics or chem. Here’s my situation: I am applying to fine arts so it doesn’t really matter which I take - I just need to do one.
I am taking Physics 12 (I’m from Canada) currently, and have just taken Chem 11. I won’t be taking Chem 12 until next year, which will be after I take my subject tests.
I am planning to take the AP course that corresponds to the subject test I take (either physics C or chem), after the subject tests.
I’m just looking to take the easiest path between physics and chemistry. I have heard that chem is slightly better than physics, and I think I would personally enjoy chem more, but my problem is that I haven’t taken Chem 12 yet, whereas I have for physics.
Any input on the comparison of the difficulty of the two subject tests, the two AP tests, or the amount of overlap between the tests and their respective 11 and 12 school courses would be appreciated.
Thank you!
