Should I update my applications?

<p>I still have 4 applications I am waiting on. This includes Carleton College and Wash U. Since I submitted, I dropped school orchestra. As a result, I was able to compete in some math and science competitions. I made first in my school for the math every time so far. We will compete at regional soon. Now I just got selected for a French competition.</p>

<p>I am thinking it is too late to add this information to my applications. Should I just forget it?</p>

<p>It’s not too late – but, from your description, it sounds like the awards have been local or school-wide. While that’s wonderful news, it’s not really significant enough to warrant an update. If you win at regional that would be worth an update!</p>
