Reqs – should be quite good

Essays - will be strong

Will spend summer between junior and senior years teaching poor village kids in Thailand(where mom grew up) english

Figure the stuff thatll set me apart is the starting own business and the Thailand thing

So, chances?

ive also got triple legacy at berk

Your unweighted GPA falls well below the Berkeley admit average (3.8), that's the only problem I see. The extracirriculars should compensate.

Legacy isn't counted @ Berkley. All the Thailand stuff will set you apart if you introduce it in a good manner, a passion. I mean I know a lot of kids that go to like India and do the same thing. Love what you do.

Your UW GPA is kind of low.

You're out of state; that just plummeted your chances. Your scores are nice, but I think it might be a slight reach/far match, if anything.

I think it will come down to your essays (and the fact that you're out of state doesn't help you), make sure you push and emphasis one thing you're reaaaally passionate about, something that doesn't make them ask "Don't we already have 12 other kids with the same stats?".... Also, there's no teacher recommendations, so don't rely on those.
