<p>The sterotypes you mention aren't necessarily so, and couldn't you be a strong enough INDIVIDUAL to avoid becoming a sterotype? Sterotypes exist because a person is not willing to get to know a person individually. It is far easier and less risky to summerize for a group of people. People do it all the time.. gays, blacks, jews, jocks, nerds, geeks and so on. It takes a little more effort to get to know a person.</p>
