@allyphoe – just re-engaging and looking at this list. Any of these in nice towns?
We visited Lawrence. Lawrence loves the city of Appleton, and the feeling seems to be mutual. Tons of restaurants and cute shops adjacent to campus in one direction; nice residential neighborhood in the other. The airport is about 6 miles away from campus, right down the main road (which also has the standard big box stores).
We visited Mount Holyoke. There’s a little shopping center across the street, but not much else. My kid, who thought that a cute town was important to her, loved MHC.
Willamette is literally right across from the state capitol, and workers there will eat in the campus cafeteria.
UPS is in a predominantly residential neighborhood, as far as I could tell from Google Maps. Same with Lake Forest.
No idea about the rest of them.
Goucher (Baltimore, MD) and SUNY New Paltz (cute town) also would be worth looking into.
Isn’t Mt. Holyoke at least as selective as Brandeis and Skidmore? It sure is a pretty campus.
@Lynski Mt. Holyoke is an outstanding school but it is less selective https://www.mtholyoke.edu/admission/class_profile
Check out the CTCL list.

See especially :
Lawrence
Clark
Beloit
Goucher
Drew isn’t on the CTCL list, but might work.
I suggested MHC before they announced this year’s acceptance numbers, which were pretty darn close to Brandeis’.
We are in Texas and know many happy students at Southwestern and Trinity. Southwestern is in a medium sized town about an hour north of Austin. Trinity is in San Antonio. San Antonio isn’t all that easy to navigate but has a long history, big city sports and concerts, and the Riverwalk.
My daughter is a current first year at Brandeis and loves is so far. Hamilton was a second choice, but is in the middle of nowhere and tougher to get in than Brandeis. Others she liked: Dickinson, Union, Oberlin, Gettysburg, Franklin and Marshall
