I visited Swarthmore today and now believe in love.
Not really, but it was absolutely fantastic. What are schools that are similar in how scenic the campus is and the ""intellectual"" and ""hipster"" presence. I am looking for schools that are not as difficult to get in as Swarthmore, however, probbaly around the level of Oberlin.
So basically scenic "unique student body" liberal arts college.
Thank you all in advance!

Bard Reed and Vassar. Each should be looked at carefully to make sure it is a viable financial choice for you, but each has that bucolic quality you loved so much about Swarthmore and are known to contain sizable hipster populations.

It’s hard to replicate the combination of attributes that Swarthmore has. In addition to Oberlin, which you mentioned, you might look at Carleton, Grinnell & Vassar. Of course Oberlin, Grinnell, Carleton and Vassar aren’t easy to get in to, but probably easier than Swat. Other colleges my kids applied to that are easier to get in to than Swat (in addition to Carleton, Oberlin & Grinnell) include Macalester, Connecticut College, Goucher, Whitman, Ursinus, but these last 4 aren’t as “intellectual” and “hipster” as Swat. I’d also suggest Haverford, but it is not that much easier to get in to than Swat.

I would say Amherst and Dartmouth? But I am not sure about the rest though. You can check the Fiske Guide I think they list some there.
