Simple fafsa question - re assets

I have a small amount in a 529 fund for my D2. I don't see anywhere to report it on the FAFSA. As long as my total assets (including the 529 fund) are less than $44,200, then I don't enter the 529 amount or my savings account amount, is this correct or did I miss something?

Thanks!

No you have to report your & your student’s 529 balance on FAFSA. See https://fafsa.ed.gov/fotw1314/help/fotw43e.htm

But if I answer Y to the question about my total assets being less than $44,200 then there is no place to enter the actual value of my savings, 529 account etc.

Right…because your assets don’t exceed the asset protection allowance. Skip logic. You don’t get the question about assets if,they are less than your asset protection.
