Single vs Double

Desk, bedframe + mattress, trash/recycling, bureau/closet are provided. Most rooms come with desk lamps although I don’t know if all of them do.

You will have the basic as posted by zenzic. You will need to provide your own bedding, towels, hangers, extra power strips, floor lamps, room microwave/refridge. If you are an international student, not to worry, you could get everything after you arrive or online at stores like Bed, Bath & Beyond, Target.

I’m a little late to the discussion, but I think it should be added that having a roommate can also be a very good experience. I live in Mary Donlon in a double, and while my roommate and I are certainly very different people, we still get along really well. We respect each other’s space, and if I think it’s too loud to do work I just go somewhere else; I’m generally more productive when I’m not in my room anyways.

So if you do end up in a double, it won’t be the end of the world, and it could turn out to be a good thing in the long run.

^ I know right. I just feel like if I go for a single I’ll be missing the whole epic “college roomate experience” but then its cons outweigh its pros.

So I’m kinda super stoked to be in a double and get the previously mentioned and infamous “college roommate experience.” So my plan is to request a double…anyone think this is a bad idea??
