Shhhhh Is it Wednesday yet? I've just wheeled in an enormous cake with a forest of blazing candles and an aging 'Chippendale' dancer hidden inside...:p

Happy Birthday dear Sluggbugg, happy birthday to you!

Sincerely...I figure you've added at least 5 years to my life span by making me laugh so hard this year...Thanks Slugg...have a wonderful day :)

hooooeeeey, blow out them candles, sluggbugg! and watch where you stick that dollar bill for the Chippendale guy, will ya?

You have the great good fortune, by the way, of being born the day before TSFH! Well, and a few years earlier... but we stopped counting those a while ago, so he's catching up to you. ;) Many happy returns, and do something outrageous. We'll watch. :D

I hear that if slugg finds the right spot for her "Chippendale dollar", she'll find her new Witness Protection id paperwork right there. Handy that her bday comes just in time for the sluggS dump-off... er, I mean send-off.

BHappyMom--your good wishes must have worked. Last night my 15-week-old puppy slept from 10 PM until 7:30 this AM and I got the first full night's sleep in the month since she came to me! Thanks!

(Performing a rescue from Page Two Purgatory...)

So Slugg, how was the happy day? Memorable we trust? Didja do something we wouldn't do but would be happy to watch from a distance? :)

Today TSFH turns a year older. It is now 7am; he has already risen, dressed, packed (remembering his water polo gear for the game this afternoon), eaten a freshly-baked cinnamon bun (after blowing out and removing the birthday candle), drank a glass of milk, opened two birthday cards, joked with his parental units, brushed his (long and tangled) hair, found a spare pen & pencil for the day, received (and laughed over) a happy-birthday text message from a friend in NJ (a girl), and drove out of the driveway to school, cheerful and smiling, ostensibly to work on "a project" with a friend at school before classes start for the day. (I think it's a girl.)

Do I need to tell you that there hasn't been a day in the past year when we haven't had to drag him out of bed just after 7:30am complaining about how he's going to be late?

So, does this have something to do with the special day? The new digit on his age? The sudden (gasp!) desire to do well in classes? Or is it just a girl thing? Wait, I know. I've fallen into an alternate universe. Don't wake me up, OK??

Too bad Slugg didn't make it to the Alley for the B'day Party. I just finished knocking someone's stiletto heels off the ceiling fan, and I am now sweeping up confetti and a leopard skin GString....Anyone?

I know, I know,'what happens in the Alley stays in the Alley'...;)

Someday I'd like to take SA into a discussion about the advantages of g-string undies but not today. Today, I want to laugh with mootie. TSFH must be in lust--I mean love.... ;)

? How does one know if the the g-string is from a leapord or from a tiger. I didn't know that was enough surface area to make a design. I gotta get out more.

Belated happy birthday!! Have you gone out and tied one on with out us???

Bhappy - we know you know what the story is behind that thong (it ain't mine, but inquiring minds want to know)

Mootie,

Wow, talk about a birthday present! Congratulations to TSFH

I agree with jmmom; do ya think he is trying to live this name down?

Yes, thank goodness for rolling admissions and knowing you can sleep nights knowing that no matter what happens he has some place to go. Or hey, he may just say this is it and chill for the next 10/11 months. That's not a bad idea. He's my new hero ;)
