^^ 2 characters wasted :D. You only need 10.

But who's counting? It's a party!

Okay, let's party! Champagne for everyone! And for me... something stronger than herbal tea. Alcohol is anti-viral, right? I need something to get this little bugger out of my system:

And a blue drink for mommusic!

Woot! .

I know the ten character secret, nyah, nyah!

Just catching up. Congrats/happy birthday to ivoryk's das dau and a double pitcher of pink panties to patsmom. <<<<note to="" self--back="" up="" hard="" drive="">>>></note>

And happy 12000!!!! Thanks for organizing the party, mommusic.

Drat! I missed the party -- or is it still going on?

I've been busy organizing an event at S's school. This is the first year we've done electronic invitations. It was all pretty slick with an online reservation form, electronic confirmation, etc, etc -- but apparently not fool-proof! All I can say is there are a number of people out there who need to "get with the program!" I'm trying to decorate on the cheap -- maybe I can recycle some of the stuff from this party????

I don't normally double-post, but ... Page 5?????? Completely unacceptable! I thought there was a party going on here??? Don't tell me this thread is over after hitting 12,000 posts!?

It appears the new CC helicopter parents are more into admissions than drinking...?

I hit the double-nickle milestone yesterday, and have come out on the other side just fine, thank you very much! Shall we party?

A round for everyone!

(I don't fly my helicopter while under the influence, SBmom)

Happy Birthday, mafool!

I'll definitely take you up on the offer of a drink!! I'm Chair of a Dinner Theater event at S's school on Saturday night. I just finished what I hope is the final seating chart. If this is what it's like to plan a wedding, I may have a little chat w/ D about eloping -- whenever that time arrives. Oh, and just to make things really interesting, the flowers I ordered for centerpiece arrangements (that I'm doing myself) arrived today. I had NO IDEA the stems would be so fat. Not sure if they're going to fit in the vases I have. Yikes!

On second thought, make mine a double!!!!!!

CBBlinker--
You'll want/need a friendly gathering of CC cyberbuddies after that Sat nite blowout!! Reconsider the "short drive" and come on down!!! I flew 1000 mi to attend!

I had such fun with the wedding seating chart. One friend of mine got a table with all his ex-girlfriends. It was also fun trying to find good company for the out of town guests. But sometimes best laid plans get ruined. I invited two guys I worked with and their wives, but they both left the wives behind, leaving the table very unbalanced. Very aggravating.

pulling my peeps up from page 3 so that they know where to find us after the meet-up :)

Hey sybbs! Your ears musta been burning! We were saying glowing things about you! We missed you and others who were unable to attend. And I missed your post about the wedding seating, mathmom. LOL. We shoulda put you in charge of the seating at Cosi's since you are clearly a pro!

sybbie, I missed you. I was at the wrong end of the table last time. This time I moved around more.

Hey sybbie, greetings! Sorry we missed you at the meet-up today! And you know who you missed? Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro! Yeah, Pacino and DeNiro. Sat right at our table and talked about their high schools juniors. They're considering schools in Vermont.

Missed it by this much!

Sounds like everyone had fun at the gathering.

I'll be in Morristown, NJ and Tarrytown, NY tomorrow, but just for the day.

I envy my metropolitan cyber friends!

This is a bar, right?

Just wanted to share my new discovery--Sam Adams Black Lager. It is SO good!

We need to ask the management to stock it here.
