A round on me! I’m so happy the college boy just completed his resume (after some prodding) so he can apply for summer internships. It looks really really good–he has done amazing (to me) computer projects & jobs while still in school…I have no idea why he was procrastinating on it.

Bartender, whatta ya got that will cover this grey hair? Or make me forget it? :D

Peeking in to say Happy New Year to all the ol’ Alley peeps.

TSFS is VERY happy at college-- he’s actually really (finally!) engaged. LOVES his professors at SLC.

Imagine my shock when I called him up and he answered in a stage whisper, “I can’t really talk because I’m in the library.” THE LIBRARY?? When this happened for a second time a few weeks later I had the fleeting thought that it was some clever slackerscam, passed from kid to kid, designed to back worried parents off… yeah, just answer in a whisper and say you’re in the library! …but apparently he’s actually been going to the library!

D is working in NY now, having graduated in '09. Having a blast and earning a living!

Littlest S is in Junior High and still does/says adorable things.

SBmom, hi! I’m just peeking in too. So glad to hear that son is engaged in school and doing well. Your D is working in NY? Congratulations! Seems like a long time ago, those days, no? But you still have a little one at home…

Not a good weekend sports-wise as the Bengals lost, Bearcats lost, and I am just a fair weather fan I guess. I even deigned to wear a Bearcats T-shirt and it didn’t help. :D

But we had a fantastic wedding weekend! Partied for a few days with the new relatives, ate a lot, looked pretty at the wedding, and danced our socks off. I was so tired the next morning!

Plus I got to see my grandson who is a really cute baby. Really really cute. Did I mention he is smart and really cute? :)

We have quite a bit of wine left over from several events, so I’m hauling it in here and dropping it off. Enjoy!

Haven’t been here in ages. d2, on a gap year, has finally submitted the last of her college apps, made me CRAZY for the past several months. She has a few acceptances under her belt and now we’ll wait till the April decisions. Raising a glass of wine to you all. Gosh, I am glad this piece is over.

Raising a very photogenic glass of your favorite adult beverage to the fact that the session of engagement portraits that I shot yesterday for a friend and her fianc
