Sounds like eggnog is in order!

In wine, there is truth.
In beer, there is strength.
In water, there is bacteria.

Cheers to VeryHappy!

LOL aibarr! We don’t want any of that nasty water!

I just came back from running errands, and I need a drink. It’s so exhausting this time of year, just going anywhere. I went to the hardware store for paint, and wasted most of the morning in traffic.

Aargh!

MAACO Bowl in Las Vegas, today Dec 22, 5pm PST.

Oregon State University, 2nd in PAC10. Go Beavs.

Beav’s 7, Morm’s 7. Q1, 2:47 left.

Flat-tailers fumbles, Cougars scores. 7-14. 1:40 in Q1

Glad folks are enjoying that big screen TV we invested in! :)

If you’re having trouble with reception, tell the marmot to hold his tail a little higher.

And remember the marmots can only affect reception, not the game itself. ;)

So if you get annoyed and throw peanuts at the screen, the marmot will run away and you will lose your antenna and miss the rest of the game.

Sinner’s is providing the beer brews to Oregonians and tea to the Mormons.

LongPrime, I hate to break it to you, but the Mormons don’t drink tea or coffee either. I think a Coke is ok.

23-7. BYU. near end of 1st half.
Maybe the beer is too strong?

embarrassed

Football, schmootball…

It looks like we will have a MD/PhD student in the family next fall!!! Yay!!! Of course, I’m forbidden to talk about this on the Internets :)

BunsenBurner, I don’t know if that means your kid has been accepted to medical school, or your kid is now engaged to a doctor, but either way, cheers! I raise my can of Steel Reserve in toast.

OSU looked pretty bad tonight. The quarterback looked like he was throwing passes directly at the ground at times. I was rooting for BYU but hoping for a bit more of a challenge.

A toast to BunsenBurner’s good fortune! Is it an accepted student or a wedding? ;)

pulling my homepeeps up from page 3 to wish everyone a happy and joyous holiday season

Same back at ya, Sybbs, and all SA’s “family”

Just figured out where I’ll be watching the Sugar Bowl game next Friday night. There’s a Champs near our hotel in Chicago. (I doubt they’ll have marmots or the luxurious decor of Sinners’ Alley, but you can’t have everything…)

Go Bearcats!

You can still have some of our ambience: just remember to pack some Cheetos in your purse!

Great idea! BYOC.

Wasn’t the Independence Bowl a dud? Unless you’re a UGA fan. Even then, a higher level of competition would have been nice.

Anyone here like Wild Turkey American Honey? The guy at the store said it was “the American equivalent” of Drambuie. Not quite, but not bad.
