Sounds good to me too! (Followed you over here, mommusic.)

I must say: that margarita sounds plenty good! One over here, please. I’ll just drink my lunch. Oh, chips? salsa? Now I have all the food groups covered!

~mafool who is buried in work at her desk IRL

5PM on the east coast, must be cocktail time somewhere. Magaritas sound lovely, hope there are some chips left. Sressing a bit waiting for the rest of the college decisions. Seems that I am stressing more than DD!

Whew! What a day. Forget the margarita. Please pass a shot of tequila, a bit of salt, and a lime wedge. On second thought . . . make it a double.

colmom, it’s on its way, and I will join you. Salud!

mafool - Salud!

another round. This virtual tequila is particularly kind to the liver and gentle in the after effects in the morning! (appreciated since that which is driving me to virtual-drink is going to be waiting for me again when I get to work tomorrow!)

Same here. Hey, does this mean we can virtual-drink during work tomorrow? I mean, the sun should be over the yardarm somewhere in the world, right?

I can guarantee that it’ll be sunny in this part of the country tomorrow! Serve up those virtual drinks! I’ll have a mojito!

Yummmm, a mojito. Gee, maybe I’ll switch drinks. Nice thing about virtual-drinking is no ill effects. I could really get to like this.

I’m enjoying the last day before spring break begins…the tranquility in my home…the clean kitchen and bathrooms…

I’m enjoying a new taste treat–etrog vodka and pineapple juice over ice. YUM!

Step 1: First you have to make the etrog vodka. We did that last fall by putting most of the peel from an etrog into a bottle of potato vodka. Then you let it sit until Passover.

Step 2: Drink.

FIL of 37 years passed at 91yo, at home. Husband of 64 years, Father to 3, Grandfather to 3. War veteran. Military surgeon, search and rescue. Public Service and foreign service physician. My wish is that I could have given him more whiskey in his last weeks.

Straightup toast. I shall miss him and his moans & groans.

condolences to longprime and family!

Sorry for your family’s loss, LongPrime.

A toast to Long Prime’s FIL:
Whiskey all around.

To his service; to his devotion; to his family.

Yes, to your FIL Long Prime …raises glass.

My FIL, an old Navy guy, is wheelchair bound and lives in a nursing home. MIL brings a bottle which the nurses store in a locked medicine drawer. Most days one of the nurses (with a grin on her face) will ask if he wants his “brown water” before bedtime. The answer is always "oh,h3ll yeah.

Condolences to you and your family, LP.

So sorry for your loss, FP.

My FIL was told by his doctor to limit his drinking to one a day…he found a REALLY large martini glass. ;)

etrog??

ETA: etrog is not 10 characters?
