Sorry m.s. I’m actually trying to get some work done today! Please have a wee dram.

mommusic you can have some too!

Just spent a week getting ready for a visit from the Board of Directors. When they left yesterday morning, I thought I’d have a sense of relief, but no…I had to spend the rest of the day plus today catching up on all the stuff I didn’t do because I was getting ready for them.

And now I am caught up. And now I must have Scotch. Hallelujah!

I haven’t experienced this much decompression in a long time. I think I may actually get the bends. Do the bends go well with Scotch? I’m about to find out.

Scotch is a proven cure for the bends. And whatever else ails you.

I think scotch may also be a good remedy for the new cc format. Doubles all around!

??? I’ll be seeing double!

I use Firefox at work and at home. At work, I saw the new CC format. At home, after a Scotch, I see the old format. That can only mean one thing: Scotch *REALLY IS *a remedy for the new CC format! Great call, GA2012MOM!

(Seriously, how can it look different on two different computers if I’m using the same browser?)

Oooh, I figured it out! Go to Quick Links, then Edit Options, then scroll to the bottom of the screen where it says Forum Skin, and select “CC” from the drop-down list. It makes the color scheme blue-and-gray (which I find more pleasing to the eye) and also restores the old page layout, at least for me, using Firefox in Windows Vista. Your mileage may vary. Limit one coupon per customer. Have a Scotch on me. Cheers.

It works! thanks, mantori.

Must have been a rough couple of weeks. No action here since the 8th.

Let me buy a round for anyone sick of campaign ads.

Our paper shredder is working overtime with all the political mail!

Broke a bottle of beer tonight, fell out of the frig & shattered everywhere!
H & D#2 will get home from work tonight & think I had my own “kegger” here.
I can still smell it even though I thought I scrubbed very thoroughly.

DB, thanks for the drink!
SLUMOM, re: beer smell in the kitchen. Tell H that you were trying a new floor cleaning tip.

Tip for campaign ad mailers - use for scooping poop and other pet messes! Our puppy suddenly threw up his breakfast the other day and being in a hurry to keep him from getting into it, I grabbed two of the political mailers from the table. Voila! They were big enough to scoop up the mess! BTW, puppy’s fine.

[Paul Smith’s College - Division of Hospitality, Resort & Culinary Management - Culinary Arts & Service Management](http://www.paulsmiths.edu/hrcm/casm.php)

I would like to do it all “over again” & go to Paul Smiths!

Do you suppose any of us on CC would enjoy this “Wine Studies” Course?
Wouldn’t that be fun as a major? Sign me up!

raises hand, sick of campaign ads

Holy Mollie. I’m not the only one fed up with political ads on TV and stuff that clogs my mailbox? H is gone to a meeting, and I have purposely kept my tv turned off, because if I see another mudslinging ad, I’m going to puke!!! The Dino vs Patty thing makes me feel like writing Mickey Mouse in

So yeah, big thanks for the much needed drink!

A toast to Mole Day!

Thanks for the reminder! With no kids at home or in HS, it got overlooked.

Rats… Talk about overlooked! My friend and I were trying to figure out if there was anything to celebrate last night when we sat down for dinner. Neither of us remembered the Mole Day - a real shame on us because we both have degrees in chemistry!!! Happy belated Mole Day to everyone.

Baltimore Ravens are driving me to drink!

Now that’s funny, Bunsen. :D

I am keeping a record on CC for when the Canadian Geese leave mid-Valley Oregon.
This year, they gathered from squads to regiments very quickly. They always fly off to points south in a single flight echelon. Left Monday, Oct 19.

Alaskan-Canadian Geese arrive in mid-Valley, typically in Mid November in various battalions but always leave in a late-March echelon. Awesome sight to see when they rise, circle to formup and then leave in a large Vee’s
