I like the idea of squads, regiments, & battalions. Better than a gaggle of geese, which is what we get around here in lower Ohio. It doesn’t get THAT cold, there’s plenty of golf course grass & ponds, so some of them never leave!

Edit: I don’t think our geese are smart enough for the goose army flight formations. They seem pretty fat & happy, though.

^^For real … I invite all to join me in raising my glass of white wine to my S on the occasion of his hosting his college sports radio show for the first time!

Totally get it, mommusic. Didn’t have quite the houseful you did, but we had 21 for Thanksgiving, DS#2 and SIL here for several days, and now everyone, including DH, who is out of town, is gone… Too quiet…

bursts through the swinging doors Here’s one!

A round on me…S who is a 5th year senior (not by choice, or maybe by a combination of bad luck, illness, & a few bad choices) reports he turned in two big papers this afternoon. A successful semester for the reluctant writer! Exams next week won’t be a problem.

Drinks for everyone! Shaken, not stirred.
D is away, S is angry with me for saying no to going to alone (with 2 other 14 year olds) to a concert. Such is the life of the mean mom…time for a beverage, for sure.
