To the brave men and women who do their taxes early!

BB: it is SO much easier to file early now that I am no longer self employed!!! I used to file for an extension.

Looks like the printout of my tax return from my tax program is coming in at 54 pages.

I’m 99% done though. Such a pain in the @$$.

Right now I’m drinking my Guinness, so I am a happy boy.

I’m sort of hoping kid #2 doesn’t want to go to any CSS Profile schools, I thought my head was going to explode when I had to fill that out for kid #1. Fortunately, he picked a FAFSA-only school.

A celebratory glass of champagne on me as I just made our last college tuition payment… EVER!

Yay teriwtt’s last tuition payment! We made our last Biggie this spring…not complaining anymore because last child is a cheap one, unless he takes it into his head to transfer to Expensive U.

Jealous of those who have done their taxes. Everything else seems to have priority here. Of course, everything else doesn’t have an April 15 deadline. Awww, pour me a glass of wine, will ya?

WHOOOO! HOOOOOO!

Congrats teriwitt!!!

WHOOOO! HOOOOOO!

Cue the music

There’s a party going on right here, a celebration that’ll last throughout the years
So bring your good times and your laughter too, we’re gonna celebrate your party with you
Come on now
Celebration, let’s all celebrate and have a good time
Celebration, we’re gonna celebrate and have a good time

I can only have half a glass…We made our last payment for D1, but we still have to pay for D2.

Congrats, Teri. What are you going to do with all that extra disposal income now? More wine, more champagne. Yay.

Well, although neither girl is dating anyone right now, it might be a good time to start a new savings plan for weddings!

Ooh teriwitt congrats! This is our year of two payments. Not fun!

Yea mathmom - we had one of those, too. Seems like moons ago now!

Could be worse, I know families who are paying for three in one year!

Hurray for teriwtt! :)

Teri, congrats! It is a major milestone. But just think - you and your H got the easy part; you o my had to sign those checks and mail them in, while your daughters had to endure 9 am classes, endless essays, exams and other torture Just kidding. CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Congratulations, Teriwtt.
You save for the wedding.
I still have $500 (down from $1000) in a 529 for the grandkid(s).

Did I mention that we have a bachelor son? :)

WOW!! I missed that post, teri!! Congrats!!!

Daffys are blooming.
Wintering geese are mostly gone.
Flowering plum are beginning to bloom.
Match pair of Bald Eagles sunning-roosting at Willamette River Park, Salem.
It hit 55, sun, and then cold rain.

Yay spring!

We were in New Hampshire over the weekend. Spring thaw…enjoyed beer on the deck in the sunshine! Of course, there was still a foot of snow on the ground, but what the heck.

Yay spring! I got a flat of colorf primroses at Costco and beautified the sorry-looking containers by the front door. I do not care if it rains tomorrow - I have two containers full of miniature suns on my front porch. :)

^I should get some pansies. They can survive being snowed on. I did notice that the daffodils are preparing to bloom. They’re all ready to go whenever it gets warm…:)

I got a thrill in the mail today…the little booklet from S’s school that tells all about graduation weekend events! I’m starting to believe it’s gonna happen! Put that champagne on ice, ok?

DH finished our taxes and we get a refund! Pour me a happy nightcap before I change the clocks and toddle off to bed!

Add me to the list of ‘Finished the College Tuition Payments’!!!
To celebrate I bought paint for our bedroom; now we will get cover the two tone decor of a middle school girl (who is about to graduate from college).
