<p>So, I already signed up for some of my classes for spring quarter (my first pass was last week). And over the past few days I’ve logged into sisweb and made a couple of changes to my schedule. However, this morning I tried to switch a couple of classes and Sisweb won’t let me - I get a message saying “You cannot register for this term at this time.” </p>

<p>I remember this happening last quarter. I would sometimes be allowed to make changes, and sometimes I wouldn’t be. It seems to be random (even though I’m assuming it’s not actually random). Does anyone know what determines whether or not you can register in the days and weeks after your first pass?</p>

<p>I was pretty sure that your pass 1 only lasts 4 hours. </p>

<p>So the fact that you could change it days after sounds funny. Looks like you’ll have to wait till pass 2 to change it again.</p>

<p>yes, your pass I only lasts 4 hours, but i believe as long as it’s after 8 PM on the days FOLLOWING your pass time, you can rearrange your schedule. :]</p>

<p>for example, if i had my pass today (and missed my appt.), i could register for classes right now because it’s now after 8 PM. if i wanted to rearrange my schedule, i could do so as well.</p>
