Hey I'm looking for sites (ie College *******) that has some information about academics, social life, etc of colleges. I remember this one site ranked the colleges on things such as parking and technology and had student comments on typical saturday nights and their favorite moments through college.

Collegeboard.com, **************.com, studentsreview.com are a few that come to mind, also Princeton Review and US News and World Report...

sorry, ************** .com

hmmm...this one must be blocked? ok, with spaces it's college ******* .com

what's up with posting the word, p- r- o- w- l- e- r ? (Sorry haven't figured out all the posting tricks!)

Hahahah.

Very interesting.

Yeah too bad. Could a moderator or administrator please help with this thread? It would really help if those site names could be unblocked! They really can't compete with CC...

The moderators apparently think we are 5 year old children. Not only are we not allowed to discuss certain unapproved websites, or say certain words, we can't even be wist-ful if we like.

I've found that colleges' lj communities are good for asking specific questions about specific schools, you get a broader range of people than the ones that post on sites like this.

Second the LJ thing.

it's because the forum isn't the main part of the college confidential site... it's like a business or something, and they can't let you advertise for competitors
