"SITE MAINTENANCE" - You know what that might mean...

let us pray...

Zetesis good point! And now I might be anxious for 4 more days....

this feels like new years eve 1999.. haha, what will happen next?

^ my site is not in maintenance! i have the same page as always after i log in...

The same thing happened A FEW DAYS before EA decisions were released. From what I remembered, they took the app status site off-line on a Thursday or Friday morning and left a note that they were "maintaining/updating this section of the site." Then a few hours later they put the site back on-line with no decisions. Then the next Monday at 4 PM EST/3 PM CST, they released EA decisions. (15 Dec)

Again, that's based on what I remembered from EA, so if that's the same trend, we may very well have a few more days of waiting left.

I think that they may have done this to temporarily increase server capacity so that they could avoid having their servers being overloaded by nerve-wrecked high school seniors when they release decisions. I think Cornell had this problem last year, because the system just completely crashed on RD Day.

ab2013, that's exactly right. My memory is that the status site went off-line on Wednesday -- but decisions weren't released for several days.

So then this is a sign that the decisions will be up in a few days! At least its some sort of olive branch as opposed to being in the dark still.

I think the real point is that there's no way to know what it means.

maybe its actually site maintenance...

I just called my counselor at University of Chicago...sadly no decisions will be sent today.

we all just need to wait a tad longer..i am sure we crazy bunch of people are gonna end up at the right place and after a few months, read these same posts and wonder how insanely crazy we were when decisions were round the corner..

oh, we are going to have SOOOOOO much fun reading these boards at this time next year

I'm thinking decisions will come out Monday. AHH!!!

i lolled when i read the discussion from yesterday

^read the EA threads and you'll be lolling on the ground. You might even die from laughter, because we were being overly dramatic. :)
