Hey! I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on the pre medical programs at these three colleges. I am a biology major with a pre med track and I am trying to decide between these three. From what I’ve heard Muhlenberg is more cutthroat where Skidmore might be more collaborative? They all have great acceptance rates into medical school, but I wasn’t sure if that was only because they weeded a lot of people out. Any advice would be appreciated!!!
Muhlenberg is very solid - good advising and support which is what premed most need.
your key criterion should be less debt and cost within budget for your parents, so can you list for each:
net price = (tuition+room+board+fees) - (grants+scholarships)
@theaterbionerd My daughter is a freshman in the pre-med program at Muhlenberg. She does not feel that Muhlenberg is cut throat. She does believe that some of the courses she is taking are meant to weed out less serious students, however. I would guess that most schools have weed out classes. My daughter has collaborated with her fellow students to study for exams and work on group projects. I believe she has found those experiences to be very rewarding. She is very happy but does spend much of her time studying-- as it should be.
