Hello. Well I have a question. After I submitted by SIR to UCLA I was directed to this page saying that I need to "provide a verification of A verification of my mother's status in the United States (i.e. copy of my mother's Permanent Resident Card), front and back, and stapled a copy of the verification to this cover sheet. Information regarding your mother must be based on information from your biological mother or legally adoptive mother. These are examples of what your mother's information cannot be based from regardless of the circumstances." The problem is that my mother is not documented and yet I don't fully understand why they are asking me this question if I don't live with her and she doesn't provide any thing for me. I have to send the verification my mail to the Residence Deputies and I don't know what to do.

Hi! I am planning on transferring to UCLA this year, and I am experiencing the same issue right now, except I do live with my mother. So, I was wondering what you ended up doing? Thanks.
@collegejazz I also had the same problem and emailed the residence deputy and she said you just need to write an explanation that you cant provide such verification because she is undocumented and has nothing to prove her residency. If youve lived in CA for all your high school years I think your considered a resident anyways. Here’s a link if you want to contact them personally

Hope this helps!
