I submitted my slr in ~ mid May ( I know the deadline was may 1st, but they gave me an extension because I got in on appeal) and it is still pending. I have been living in CA for 18 months now and they really have no reason to deny my SLR. I meet all the requirements..

Should I email them and ask what is going on or should I just wait? How long did it take before you SLR was approved? It's been about 2.5 months since I submitted mine and I am starting to freak out :/.

Yes, email them. You’re almost a college student. Take some initiative.

I emailed them regarding the same situation.

Here is their response from July 19 2011:

We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to one of our systems being
temporarily down, we will be unable to change your status until next
week, however we have everything we need from you.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Office of the Registrar
Residence Affairs Unit

Edit: Extra detail: I submitted my things first few days of June.

Same here. Mine’s been pending even longer than yours. When we finally go there for the welcome activities, I think we’ll have a chance to see them in person and get this straightened out.
