Small - Mid-sized Southeastern Schools w/ Merit?

Why not New College of Florida? I’m not sure about the Swimming criterion, but they have an excellent record for graduate admissions, and good life science programs. Is it too quirky and small for her? She would qualify for in-state tuition, and possibly additional aid. We pay less than $30k for my son, who is out-of-state. It is a public college, and very affordable for FL residents.

College of Charleston no longer has swimming , but meets all other criteria and has an excellent relationship with the Medical University of South Carolina including research and volunteer opportunities .

She might look at Drury U. in Springfield, Missouri. It is a small school, with a good swim team. Very reasonably priced for a private school, with generous merit aid. They have an early acceptance arrangement with 4 Missouri medical schools (2 MD/2 DO) for qualified students.
