SMC vs. PCC

<p>Which community college is better- Santa Monica or Pasadena? I'm looking to move to California in mid-July, to Southern California and these are the two colleges I'm looking at. I want to transfer to USC or UCLA, so I'm thinking Santa Monica...but the atmosphere of Pasadena looks like it might be better..anyone from the area have any thoughts? </p>

<p>Edit: Also if I go to Santa Monica, I can do my math and english testing here (in Hawaii) whereas if I go to PCC I have to wait and do it there.</p>

<p>ive never had any experience with SMC, but i believe SMC is higher ranked than PCC.
if i had to choose the 2 id go with PCC. it will help you adjust faster to the mainland. </p>
