There are stats abt smithies’ salary (abt 40k/year after 6 yrs and 30k/year after 2 years.) Is this kinda low compared to other top 20 schools? What’s wrong with it? Or maybe is it because Smith is a women’s college? Women are assumed to make less than men.
Perhaps you can link whatever stats you are looking at.
But generally speaking you have to be careful with such stats, because they can depend on a lot of factors, including how many graduates go on to which sorts of postgraduate degree programs, what mix of career fields they are interested in, which job markets geographically interest them, and so on. In other words, the idea every college graduate is trying to maximize their gross earnings as soon as possible obviously does not apply to many real world graduates.
