I'm a senior, and my top two choices are Smith and Wellesley.

My stats are these:
SAT: 2220
ACT: 33
AP US History: 5
GPA: 3.85
extracurric's are mainly theatre (i.e. troupe president) and some Spanish stuff

so. Assuming I get accepted to both Smith and Wellesley (and feel free to tell me if that is a mistaken assumption), HOW DO I DECIDE BETWEEN THE TWO.

....thanks!

IF you get accepted to the two schools, find out how much money they’ll give you.

If one school is affordable and the other one isn’t, great you’ve made your decision.

If both are, revisit the schools if possible. Then decide where you’d rather spend the next four years of your life. If it isn’t possible to visit both, write out a list of pros and cons about each school. That list might include location, strengths of various departments of interest, “vibe”, etc. Look at it, and you’d probably figure out where to deposit.

Great advice, thank you.
