Smith vs. Simmons vs. UVM

Hi, I am trying to decide (by the May 1st deadline) whether to go to Smith, Simmons or UVM. Both Smith and Simmons are all girls, and UVM is just way on the other end of the spectrum.

What are the main differences between Smith and Simmons and what is the social life/party scene like at both?

Which, do you think, would give me the best connections/education in the end?

I am not sure what I want to major in yet, either something in Business (which Smith does not have a business school) or in the Sciences, such as neuroscience or bio.

Thank you!

^^
Were you accepted to the UVM Honors College?

For what it is worth, I just had a conversation with a 62 year old friend who went to Simmons and was wait listed at Smith. She still regrets not reapplying to Smith.

Wow, really three very different schools in very different areas. UVM is in gorgeous Burlington and will offer you everything you need I’m sure. Simmons is more pre-professional but offers Boston at your doorstep. And Smith, well its the highest ranked by far of the three if that matters but they have their very own vibe there and from what I gather you either love it or hate it. If you haven’t fallen in love with it yet, I don’t think you will. I don’t imagine Smith and SImmons have a great party scene but UVM probably does. I think if you don’t know what you’re interested in majoring you might want to go to the bigger school for more choices. Of course, you haven’t mentioned $$.
